Team TrainingA full indoor turf field for baseball and softball team practice, infield work and group training — climate-controlled and available in 60, 90 or 120-minute blocks for teams across Lake County.
When Northeast Ohio weather wipes out practice, the Plex keeps your season on track. Our indoor turf field gives coaches a real space to run a full team workout — warm, dry and ready whenever you book it.
The turf is built for baseball and softball teams: infield and defensive work, throwing progressions, base running, agility and conditioning all have room to happen. Coaches get a blank canvas to run the practice they've planned instead of squeezing drills into a hallway.
Rentals come in flexible blocks — 60 minutes for $185, 90 minutes for $250, or 120 minutes for $350. Split across a roster, it's an affordable way to keep a team sharp through the winter and spring.
The most popular setup is a combined session: run hitting stations in the batting cages — including HitTrax for measurable swing feedback — while the rest of the team works defense on the turf, then rotate groups. It's a complete, efficient practice under one roof.
Running a travel program or a rec league? We can help set up recurring weekly team slots so your practice time is locked in for the season. The turf also works for private group training and clinics. Get in touch to arrange team scheduling.
Teams from Concord Township, Mentor, Painesville, Willoughby, Kirtland and across Lake County train at the Plex. We're easy to reach at 7993 Crile Rd — get directions.
